This video tutorial by Timber Ridge Gifts on YouTube immediately intrigued me and I just knew I had to try it. Since my Grandmother’s birthday is almost near and I plan to make this adorable personalized candle, then give it to her as a gift! If you also want to make this for the same purpose as me or maybe you want to sell them, whichever it is, I guarantee you that this hack is so simple and easy.
Step 1
Cut a piece of craft tissue paper, then rub a glue stick at the cardstock before attaching the tissue paper. Load it on your printer, then start choosing the photo you want to transfer to the candle and print it out. Cut along the outline as close as possible making sure to remove only the white part. Once you’re contented with the shape, gently remove the tissue paper from the cardstock. Cut out a piece of wax paper, then set it aside.

Step 2
Line up the picture on the tissue paper on top of the candle’s body, place it however you want, then wrap the piece of wax paper around the candle tightly, but not too tight or it will rip. Hold the excess flap of the wax paper at the back of the candle, then gently sweep the heat gun across the picture. Let it cool for a few seconds, then slowly pull the wax paper off the candle. Just keep in mind that the picture isn’t completely transferred but just attached around the candle locked with another layer of wax, so be careful if you’re planning on actually burning instead of displaying them.
