Materials Needed For This DIY:
- Water or Coke Bottle
- Exacto Knife
- Wire
- Wire Cutters
- Aluminum Foil
- Wall Putty
- Paint
- Glue
- Paint Brush
Directions:
Step One
Start by cutting the bottom part of your bottle off, leaving only the top section and the lid. Keep the lid of the bottle on.
Step Two
Next, cut two holes into the sides of the bottle on the part you drink from and then string a piece of wire through the holes to create the arms. String the second piece of wire over this one inside the bottle and then through the lid to make the legs.

Step Three
Using the tin foil, begin wrapping the wire with it. Bend the wire into the position you want the people’s pots to sit in before covering it in foil. Make sure to wrap the middle part of the body too. Don’t begin the next step until you have the limbs bent how you want them to stay.
Step Four
Once the body thickness is a large as you desire, begin covering the foil in wall putty. Get a good layer of putty on before you begin smoothing it out. You can use glue to attach the putty on the top of the planter easier.

Step Five
Cover the people putty in paint. Gently brush the paint on using a paintbrush. You can paint it whatever color you like, and add as much detail as you see fit.
