A young couple in Texas @EvanAnd Katelyn dis the most fantastic patio makeover, we covered their ingenious invention called “The Catio” which was this excellent window box idea that served as a mini patio for their adorable kitty. But I was left in further amazement when I saw this adorable pair were at it again and they redecorated their entire patio from the ground up. They started the whole project by giving the concrete a good pressure wash, then bleaching the concrete with a special solution, and painting the concrete with a special sealer that was an amazing grey color.

Then they really did not want their brand new patio being let down by the old discolored grey looking fence and they didn’t want to replace the whole thing because it was the neighbor’s fence and they had the backside anyway, so they came up with the fabulous idea to build a fence on top of their existing fence and it turned out great.

Then they added all-new fixtures to give their new patio and updated look and the fixtures they chose were gorgeous and very modern looking but very rustic at the same time.

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
