Then while flipping through the Christmas Pottery Barn kids magazine, I saw their rustic stars…and knew it was time to make some stars!

Now you can make your own wood stars decor just in time for the holiday season. Shop Built shows you how in the tutorial below.
I think we all love stars in any shape. What better time to make this phenomenal star, than right before Christmas, to add to your holiday decorations! Although, this is something that you can leave up all year around.
I love the primitive rustic look and I mix it with my eclectic decor. When I saw the way he made this star, I had to have one! These are so cheap to make, yet would be quite expensive to buy…just check out the ones they sale on Etsy.
I’m going to make some of these to give away to family and friends for Christmas I can’t imagine someone not being delighted to receive one of these awesome stars as a gift.
Watch how this guy with Shop Built makes this cool star in his step by step tutorial, so you can make one too!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
