This project is one of my favorite spring DIYs, as I can decorate it in many ways. I can put faux or decorative plants, easter eggs, or some flowers on it. Flowers are a favorite, but you can use this basket how you like, personalizing it to your liking. Learn how to make it by watching the video tutorial below.
Start by cutting off the bottom of the plastic fences, put them in a single lane, kind of overlapping one another, and then secure them with floral wire. After this, connect both ends to form a circle, securing them with floral wire as well. Next, lay another plastic fence and put the circle piece on top of it. Measure how big you’ll need for the bottom, then cut it. Attach it with floral wire to the circle piece, cutting off any protruding part. Now, take the last piece of the plastic fence, and cut it in half horizontally (remove the spikes at the bottom as well).
Once done, cut the lower part again, leaving just the detailed half piece. Set it aside. Repeat it to the other half, but just cut the top part, getting rid of the spiky parts as well. Now, lay both pieces on top of one another and secure them in place. After this, attach this to the basket, securing each end on opposite sides, turning it into a handle. Paint it with the color of your choice, then let it dry completely. Once done, put some twine for a decorative accent. Lastly, put it on your porch and place some decorative plants inside.
