It’s almost Springtime again and I just can’t wait to get my garden ready for all the backyard parties and gatherings I have planned. I have been on a relentless search scouring Youtube to find the very best of the best of DIY ideas so I can turn my little backyard garden into a mini paradise absolutely popping with color, but I wanted to do it in an inexpensive way and I also wanted to be able to utilize many leftover items I had lying around that I could upcycle into something extraordinary. I was so delighted when I found this gorgeous idea to make mosaic stepping stones out of old broken plates and ordinary plain round cement stepping stones that you can find at your local garden center or any Lowes or Home Depot store. I knew immediately I had found the perfect project to start my new little colorful garden paradise, the ideas were flowing like a river. I was going to make about ten of these gorgeous stepping stones and then at the end of my little trail of mosaic stepping stones, I was going to build a DIY coy pond, I could see it all at the forefront of my imagination and it was going to be beautiful. The materials were really basic and simple to obtain and I already had plenty of plates and the Youtuber’s instructions were really straightforward as well.
First, cut your plate into pieces.
Then glue the pieces down.
Then grout the entire area an wipe clean.
My garden is going to look so lovely when I do this.
