McKenzie Childs designs beautiful furniture, and all her pieces of art furniture have hefty price tags of thousands of dollars. I really wanted a McKenzie Childs style table for my living room so I went searching on the internet for a copycat painting method that would be more within my budget. I found this DIY Mckenzie Childs inspired harlequin table by Angela East, on YouTube, and I really felt like I could pull this easy painting method off without a hitch. I managed to find an old table at Goodwill for $5.00 and I got some craft paint from Michael’s craft store, where I used a 60 percent off coupon and this project turned out to be really cheap to make.
