Take your bottle and 4 pieces of string. Place your bottle upside down. Place the center of the strings on top of the bottle. Tape the top part in place. Make one square knot in the middle.
Remove the tape and group the strings into pairs placing them in the middle on each side. Tape the top part in place again.
Make the reef knot on the bottom edge of the water bottle on all pairs. Reef knot is a way to square knot using only two working codes without filler codes.
Make the second layer of knots. Make each knot 1.2 cm to 1.6 cm apart. Repeat for the next layers until you reach the top part of your bottle.
Make the handle. Make a knot by holding one thread long so that the two threads can converge. Next, make 6 square square knots with two pairs. Do the same for the other side.
Gather all the threads together, then do a wrapping knot. Wrapping knot with 51.2 inch thread. Cut the excess.
