DIY Luxury Coffee Table Using An Old Tire

I always wanted those high-end coffee tables I see in the mall. One would be really nice in my living room, adding a luxury feel to it. But; they’re too expensive, and I would feel bad spending that amount of money on just a table. Luckily, I found this DIY coffee table from LUANNTAZZ on Youtube. Who would have thought I could turn our old tire into an expensive-looking coffee table? And I only need a few materials for this DIY. It’s super easy, non-hassle, and this would really make my living room feel luxurious! I also shared this with my friends, and they were all amazed at the result. Materials:
- old tire
- wood glue
- 1-inch foam
- suede fabric
- drill
- staple gun
- circle mirror
- circle wood board, for the top
Directions:
Step 1
To start, clean and dry your tire thoroughly. Next, coat the entire tire with wood glue, then attach the foam, wrapping it around the tire. Secure it nicely and tightly with a staple gun. Now, start wrapping the whole thing with the suede fabric. Place it over the foam and staple gun the edge in place. Continue this step, making sure you are kind of ruffling and folding the fabric for the pleated effect, then staple it in place while going around.

Step 2
After this, cut off the excess fabric. Next, attach the circle wood board on top and bottom of the tire table by drilling and screwing them in place. Finally, place the circle mirror on top. Your DIY tire table is now done!
