Are you looking for your next recycling project? Try making this DIY laundry basket from Tatzkreen Art on YouTube! This DIY only needs plastic bottle caps and a few crafting materials to make. It’s a great way to recycle bottle caps, especially if you have tons of them just lying around your home. It’s also a fun DIY to make on a weekend with your friends or family, don’t you think? This project is one of the few DIYs you’ll actually use in your everyday life.

Aside from using it as a laundry basket, you can also use this DIY as an organizer or spray paint it and use it as a piece of decor. It’s truly a fantastic project to do. Watch the video tutorial below to learn the step by step instructions.
To start, trace your laundry basket’s bottom on a piece of cardboard, then trace one bottle cap on the outside edge of the circle (use this as the basis to make the outer circle.) Once done, cut the shape out using scissors or a box cutter. Now, start building the DIY laundry basket.

Start gluing the first layer of the plastic bottles, wrong side down, into the cardboard. After this, place your laundry basket in the center and start assembling the walls (your laundry basket will make it easier for you to build the walls of your DIY basket.) Keep gluing the bottle caps until you finished the basket. Once you’re satisfied with the height, remove the laundry basket and you’re done!
