I always love personalizing my decorations around the house as I’m a big-time DIYer. So, when I saw this DIY ivy lamp from @my_home_by_kendra on TikTok, I instantly fell in love with it. What I like about this DIY is that it’s not complicated and is easy enough to make by just one person. It also looked so good; I might make a couple of these and put one in my bedroom and one in the living room.

Step 1

To start, assemble the lamp frame by screwing the four strips of wood on the blank panels. Once done, paint the lamp frame black (or any color you want). Let it dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Step 2

Once the paint is completely dry, go ahead and attach the command hooks beneath the wood panel at the top. (You can attach command hooks according to how you would place the garland and lighting.) When done, place the ivy garland first by hooking it to the command hooks, and scatter it inside the lamp frame. After this, add the fairy lights, and you are done! (Make sure the fairy lights are properly distributed over the faux ivy). Place it anywhere in your home.
