I don’t know about the rest of you, but autumn is my favorite season for a number of reasons including one of my favorite pastimes…DIY fall decor, of course! I love filling my home with the scents, colors, and textures of fall. And what’s better than making your own seasonal decor? Making it for free! That’s why I love this easy tutorial for roses made from fallen leaves.

All you need to make these floral beauties is a handful of colorful fallen leaves, a stick, some twine and a pair of scissors. Follow this easy step by step tutorial to fold and snip your supplies into a single elegant stem or create a whole bouquet of these DIY flowers in a variety of autumn shades. In addition to being beautiful home decor, these flowers also make lovely hair accessories, gift wrapping additions, and I’ve even seen them used in rustic wedding decor.

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
