This high-end coffee table DIY by yoduvh Essentialsis one of the coolest furniture pieces I’ve found. The table looks like something you would purchase at Anthropologie or another fancy furniture store, but only cost a fraction of the price to make. If your purchase your supplies from the dollar store, it will only cost around $15.
Materials Needed For This DIY:
- 9 Hula Hoops
- Spray Paint
- Glass Table Top
- Dollar Store Round Gift Box
- Box Cutter
- Zip Ties
- Gorilla Glue
- Gems For Decor
Directions:
Step One
Start by connecting your hula hoops using zip ties. It is easiest to start this by lying the first two on the ground and attaching them. Then, attach one to each side of the two you just connected. Now, you can stand them up and continue attaching the rest of the hula hoops.

Step Two
Take the dollar store round gift box and cut it to a size that will fit around that middle of the zip-tied hula hoops.
Step Three
Use the gorilla glue to fill in the center of the hula hoops and make them hold sturdier.
Step Four
Take your hula hoops and gift box and spray paint all of it one color. Let that dry, then attach the gift box around the center of the hula hoops.

Step Five
Add any other decorations you might want. In the video down below, yoduvh Essentials used some sparkling gems to add an accent at the center of the hula hoops. Once you are done adding decorations, place the glass tabletop on the top of the hula hoop base. Just like that, you’ve created a high-end table for a fraction of the price.
