DIY Heart Shaped Glitter Foam Ornaments

I love Christmas Ornaments that sparkle, so when I saw this tutorial on Youtube for these DIY Glitter Foam Heart Ornaments, I fell in love. When they said it was going to be cheap and easy, boy did they mean cheap and easy! Seriously, this is the kind of DIY project where you get some foam craft paper and add whatever you have, a few sprigs of greenery, a bow, some glittery letters, and you have beautiful Christmas Ornaments! The thing is whatever you fancy will work perfectly for these awesome DIY Christmas Heart Ornaments. I started by getting some glitter foam craft paper from Michael’s Craft Store, I used my 40% off coupon so they were very inexpensive. Then I just needed things I already had like string to hang the ornament to the tree and of course my trusty hot glue gun. I started this awesome DIY by cutting my central piece of the heart-shaped ornament from my Michael’s Glitter Foam in about a 7″ x 1″ strip then marking the inside and cutting strips leaving it connected at to middle. You will fold that part in half.

Then you get out your trusty hot glue gun and glue the sides of your strips together in a graduated fashion then pinch and glue the center top making a heart shape.

Then make another one exactly like it, then stick them together trimming the sides. Then you cut a tiny section of foam and a section of some decorative thread and make a slip loop holder for your DIY Glitter Foam Heart Ornament and glue it on. Then you just decorate heart ornament any way you want to, such as decorative beading along the sides.
