Materials:

  • popsicle sticks
  • super glue
  • LED filament bulb
  • wire and bulb holder
  • black spray paint
  • metal ruler

Instructions:

Step 1:

Get 4 pieces of popsicle sticks and glue them together to make a square. Let it dry and make 4 more. Once done, arrange the 4 squares to make a bigger square but make sure to put space in between. Next, get one square and glue it on the center of the 4 pieces. Let them dry completely and make four more of this arrangement.

Step 2:

Arrange each of the big squares into a cross with spaces in between. Get 16 pieces of popsicle sticks and make 4 squares. Let them dry completely.

Step 3:

Glue the squares in between the big squares to connect all of them. Let them dry completely. Once done, get a metal ruler and use it to fold the connection squares in the middle to make the lampshade.

Step 4:

Get 16 popsicle sticks and make 4 squares. Once dried, use the metal ruler and fold each one in half. Put super glue on the folded parts.

Step 5:

Glue the folded squares into the corners of the lampshade.

Step 6:

Get 4 pieces of popsicle sticks and glue them on the center of each side, forming a hashtag. Do the same for the remaining sides.

Step 7:

Spray paint the whole lamp shade black, then let it dry completely.

Step 8:

Insert the wire and bulb holder on the lampshade and the LED filament bulb.
