Spring is the best time to hang floral pockets, and if you’re looking for the perfect DIY tutorial, you’re in the right place. This floral pocket from We Craft Around on Youtube is easy to make, and all the materials are readily available in Dollar Tree. You also have the choice to hang this adorable piece or put it on the corner to enliven your space. Watch the video tutorial below to learn the step-by-step instructions.

Materials:

  • small burner cover
  • disposable cookie sheet
  • faux florals
  • sandstone chalk paint
  • greenery
  • sisal rope
  • eucalyptus
  • hot glue
  • scissors

Directions:

Step 1

Paint the burner cover with sandstone chalk paint with one coat on the inside and two on the outside. Once dried completely, take the rope on the underneath side of the burner cover and start hot gluing it all the way around until completely filled in. Next, mark a line on the cookie sheet that is much larger than the whole burner cover. Cut a little notch so you can fold just the side of it, then hot glue it inside the indent on the back of the burner cover on top of the rope. Once you have the sides glued down, trim the bottom so it’s flush with the bottom of the rope.

Step 2

Grab the rope again, and start attaching it with hot glue at the top of the cookie sheet, then around the entire edge. Once the edges are filled in on the cookie sheet, take the pieces of rope, and cut the length right underneath the top part of the rope. Work your way all the way down until the cookie sheet is completely filled in. Once it’s all done, decorate it with some greenery and faux florals. Hang it on your wall with some command strips.
