DIY Glass Etching Project – Shot Glasses
What You Need:
- Contact Paper
- Etching Cream
- Shot Glass
- Craft Knife
- Painters Tape
- Alcohol
- Cotton Pad
- Paintbrush
- Gloves
Step 1
Trace your stencils using contact paper.
Step 2
Trace and cut contact paper with a craft knife.
Step 3
Clean the glass with rubbing alcohol and stick the contact paper to you shot glass. Make sure there is no air and use Painters tape to patch the sides which you think the Etching Cream would seep in.
Step 4
Apply etching cream using a brush on the stenciled contact paper. Warning: Use Gloves.
Step 5
Let the etching cream sit for 15 minutes and wash it off with a running Water.
Pat dry with a paper towel and peel of. and you etched shot glass is done!
