This DIY ginger hair mask for extreme hair growth works like magic. If you have trouble getting your hair longer, try this recipe by Mamtha Nair on Youtube, it may work for you! For this mixture, you only need 2 simple ingredients. Read on or watch the video below for full instructions.

Ingredients:

  • 100% pure organic virgin coconut oil
  • ginger

Instructions:

Step 1:

Get 2 to 3 inches of ginger. Peel the skin off and cut it into smaller pieces. Put the ginger inside the food processor and blend it well.

Step 2:

Add 2 tablespoons of coconut oil into a clean bowl. If it’s in solid form, you need to melt it first before using it. The best method is by pouring hot water into a large bowl and placing the bowl with the coconut oil inside.  It will melt after 3 to 5 minutes. You don’t need to do this if it’s already in liquid form. Take note: never microwave or put the coconut oil into direct heat.

Take a strainer or a clean cloth. Place the ginger pulp into the cloth and squeeze out as much juice into the coconut oil. Mix until the ginger juice is well combined with the oil.

Step 4:

Store this mixture in a clean bottle. You can use an amber glass bottle to protect the oil from sunlight. This will also help in extending the shelf life of the oil. If you are not using it, place it in the refrigerator, it can last up to 2 weeks.

It will be in a solid form whenever you take it out of the fridge. If you want to use it, put some mixture into the bowl, place it in another bigger bowl with hot water and let it sit for 5 minutes. Shake the bottle very well before using it.
