Don’t you just love the intricate details in this unique lantern? Well, it’s inspired by Free People, so it’s gotta be spectacular! All of their things are so detailed and lovely, but then again, so are their prices….well, not lovely, but pricey!
I was really excited when I saw there was a tutorial to make one of these fabulous lanterns. I have so many great fabric scraps, sequins and buttons, so I was pretty ahead of the game on supplies to make this cool lantern. All I had to buy was the light kit and some pretty flannel.
I made three of these for my bedroom and hung them at different levels. I’m so proud of them. They look fabulous in my room and really add a great looking effect in my room. I just love them!
I’ve always loved all of Free People’s clothing and unique gifts, but rarely bought anything there, due to how expensive they are. My daughter shops there all the time and I get to admire all of her beautiful purchases, but the buck stops there! She was pretty blown away when she saw the lanterns I made from this tutorial. She immediately loved them and said they looked like Free People, but she knows I don’t shop there. So, needless to say, I was pleased when she said that! Mission accomplished!
I made one of these for a couple of friends, for gifts, and they went bonkers over them. I smiled like a cheshire cat! l just love giving neat gifts like this to people.
Watch how Ann, with Free People, does this in their step by step tutorial so you can make one of these fabulous lamps too!
