This DIY flower storage made from a cardboard roll is a fun project we did with the kids. We had a lot of cardboard from packages, and instead of throwing them in the trash, we decided to repurpose them. It’s super easy to make and can be used to store pieces of jewelry, accessories, and small items. This wonderful idea is by SIGNATURE WORKSHOP on Youtube. Cut the cardboard roll into 7 with the same sizes using a blade.
Form the cut rolls into a flower with 6 petals and one in the center. Place them on the cardboard and trace them with the marker. Then cut the cardboard. Make 3 more for a total of 4.
Glue two pieces of the flower cardboard together. Make sure that the printed sides are together. Do the same on the remaining 2 pieces.
Place the rolls into one of the flower cardboard and glue them in place. Make sure to add glue in between each roll.
Paint them with your preferred color and let them dry completely.
Glue the lace around the edges of the cover and on the bottom edges of the storage.
Cut a small strip of ribbon and glue one end on the base and the other on the cover. Glue another one on the side.
Glue a strip of ribbon on the inside, one end inside the roll and the other on the cover. Make another one for the other side.
Paint the rims of the rolls with white.
Decorate the cover with leaves and flowers.
