There are different types of style of face masks on YouTube, but this tutorial by Merry Craft took me off guard. A face mask that can prevent ear pain is a must. I’ve never seen this style of face mask before, and it looks very comfortable. There are so many people who complain about wearing a face mask because it hurts their ears. I don’t know how many times I could count, but I think they should start selling these. Honestly, this would be a great way to start a small business. I could make these ear pain prevent face masks, and without a doubt, I think people would buy them. Plus, this tutorial requires no sewing machine. I can sew easily with a needle and thread, so this makes me excited. Another reason why some people do not wear a face mask would be how it looks. I think this face mask looks pretty because it’s not bulky around the ears. I love how this can just slip on easily, but still tight on the face for coverage.
First, use a medium-size flat round plate to cut out a circle shape. Then, fold the circle in pieces and cut between the folded lines. There will be 4 fabric pieces after, and you want to lay two on top of each other.
Next, continue to watch Merry Craft tutorial on YouTube on how to finish creating a painless face mask. The key to this tutorial would be the strip with buttons. This helps attach and pull the elastic from the mask to the lower back of your head.
Overall, this new style of face mask would work wonders for many people. I have to pass on this DIY to my mom.
