One of the most frustrating things is trying to put on a duvet cover by yourself. In a world of iPhones and all sorts of tech devices, you’d think someone would have found a easier solution to this burdensome by now. It makes me want to pull my hair out…worse than putting lights on a 10′ Christmas tree!

Fortunately the folks at Inhabitat came up with a way to bypass all the stuffing, pulling, and aggravation that comes with this not so easy task.

It’s called the burrito method:

  • Start by turning your duvet cover inside out and laying it flat on the bed, with the opening at the foot of the bed.
  • Lay your comforter or blanket on top.
  • Begin rolling it up like a burrito.
  • Keep rolling…
  • Then, you pull off some stuffing action once you get to the end, and voila — your duvet unrolls looking flat and bump-free!

I was never so relieved as I was to learn how to do this! Inhabitat shows us in her step by step tutorial exactly how this is done so you can save your sanity! Show this tutorial to your friends and family so they can get some relief too!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
