DIY Dollar Tree Spice Rack Tutorial

I always find DIY crafts for the kitchen so cute, and this spice rack is no exception. I will surely try making this one as it will look so nice in my kitchen. My spices are also everywhere, so it’s an ideal project if you don’t have a designated place for your spice bottles. Watch the video tutorial below to learn the step by step instructions on how to make this. 

Materials:

• 3 pcs mini wooden crates from Dollar Tree
• 3 pcs paddle cutting board from Dollar Tree
• contact paper
• e6000 glue
• scissors
• marker
• paint, color of your choice
• paintbrush

Directions:

Step 1

Grab the contact paper and trace the inner part of the cutting board. Once done, cut the shape out. Repeat these steps and make two more for the other two cutting boards. After this, paint the cutting boards with the color of your choice, then let them dry completely. Now, peel the back of the contact paper slightly, then carefully place it on the cutting board. Repeat these and attach the remaining contact paper to the other two cutting boards.

Step 2

Now, paint the mini crates with the same color you used on the cutting boards, then let them dry completely. After this, glue each crate to the cutting board using e6000 glue. Let the glue finish off drying. Your DIY spice rack is now done!
