There are only a few days left before Christmas, which means it’s time to decorate our homes. I saw a beautiful Christmas candle holder from a store yesterday. The jar where the candle was placed has a mini Christmas village inside. It was magical, but then I saw the price and decided to put it back. I will never spend that much on a decor piece! So I looked on Youtube and found this DIY dollar tree holiday candle decorations. It has the same concept as the ones that I saw. It’s cheaper, and I can even customize it however I like. Thanks to MK Blue Star for these amazing ideas – I saved myself a lot of money.
Get 4 pieces of the bottom part of the plastic wines and 4 pieces of Christmas balls. Take off the top small piece of the balls. Open the candle and heat the bottom part of the balls. Once it’s heated, use a wooden stick to poke a hole in the bottom of each ball. Spray paint the bottom of the plastic wines in red color. Let them dry completely. Next, cut the wooden stick in half (or depending on the size of your balls). Glue the sticks to the bottom part of 2 wine glasses. Once done, insert 2 balls on each stick, then glue the two remaining wine glass bottoms on top. Decorate them with some tiny Christmas balls and leaves, then place the candles on top.

Glue the mini tree inside the bottom of the jar, then place the faux snow in a bowl. Decorate the lid with ribbons. Glue the Santa, snowman, and elf toys inside the jar, then add a bit of faux snow. Decorate the Christmas tree with some LED lights. Decorate the candle with some twine, leaves, or other Christmas decorations. Place the candle on top of the lid.
