Dog’s are best known as a man’s best friend. True enough they’re not just our pets but a part of our family, some of us might even have more than one dog. I love taking care of stray puppies, I started rescuing just one until I ended up with a lot of them now. Buying them beds could be pricey that’s why I considered making one for them instead. However, one problem that I had at that time is that my sewing machine broke so I needed an easy tutorial that doesn’t use a machine. As if the internet heard me, I found Supriya Craft World, a crafts channel on YouTube. The instructions are straightforward, easy to follow, and require only a few materials. My dogs loved their new bed and found them comfy!

Materials:

  • Long-sleeved shirt
  • Fiberfill cotton
  • Scissors

First, sew the opening of each sleeve and flip them inside out. Then, fill the inside of each of the sleeves with fiberfill cotton as desired. Sew a curved line starting from the lower seam of the shirt’s armpit towards the other end. Fill the upper part of the shirt with fiberfill cotton, then sew and close the opening on the neck part. Then, fill the bottom part of the shirt with fiberfill cotton, and sew the opening. Join both arms together at the bottom of the shirt then sew them together. Attach the arms to the center part of the bed and sew around all sides, flip over and they’re ready to be used.
