Wherever my husband and I go nowadays all we’re always seeing furniture…we’re kind of like trolls. This time it was a console table that we really liked at a local furniture store. We started cruising Pinterest and found this great tutorial. We knew we could  build it for super cheap since the one we had our eyes on was $750, then we saw one that was similar at Crate & Barrel for $1099, almost $1200 with tax! Can you believe we built this console table for under $40! This is what I love so much about DIY’s…the savings is incredible!

I was really missing some functional storage in my highly trafficked front hallway. Because yes, I was super tired of seeing the hubby’s car keys and wallet parked on our mantle like pieces of decorative art.

When I spied this tutorial by Bored or Bananas, I knew it was the perfect piece for our entryway.

These console tables are so versatile and can be used as a TV stand, behind a sofa, in your entryway or wherever your heart desires! I personally love that I’ve got a place to put my magazines and what nots to get them up and out of the way! I think this has to be one of my favorite pieces of furniture in my home.
