This DIY confetti canon from SophiesWorldVideo on Youtube will make New Year’s eve countdown more exciting! With simple crafting materials found around the house, you can make a bunch of these confetti canons – simple, easy, and super cheap. You can also make these for any occasion you will celebrate. Watch the video tutorial below to learn the step-by-step instructions.

Materials:

  • inside tube of a toilet paper
  • leftover wrapping paper
  • scissors
  • tape
  • 11″ balloons
  • rubber band
  • tissue paper
  • confetti

Directions:

Step 1

Take your balloon and tie it off at the end without blowing it up. Cut a little off the top, open it up with your fingers, put it right over the top of the tube, and pull it down. Next, take your tape and seal the balloon right on the tube by wrapping it around. After this, decorate it using your leftover gift wrap paper.

Step 2

Next, take a piece of tissue paper, fold it into fours, and cut it into a shape of a half rainbow. Put the confetti inside the tube (about 2 tbsp of confetti), take the piece of your tissue paper, put it over top, fold it down on all sides, and secure it with a rubber band.

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
