As I was cleaning my living room, I suddenly thought of upgrading my dated coffee table. I was initially going to buy one til I came across this DIY project from yoduvh Essentials on Youtube. This gorgeous coffee table only uses hula hoops and simple DIY supplies. And yes, this doesn’t look like DIY at all! Learn how to make this in the video tutorial below.
Materials:
- 9 pieces 22″ hula hoops
- 8″ zip ties
- 11″ zip ties
- silver spray paint
- bling wrap
- strong adhesive
- gems
Directions:
Step 1
Attach all the hula hoops using zip ties one after the other. (It’s important to make this as tight as possible.) Use longer zip ties attaching the last three hoops. After this, glue all the hoops together in the middle using a strong adhesive.

Step 2
Cover the middle part with a poster board or anything you can use. Spray everything with silver spray paint and let it completely dry. After it dries out, cover the middle part with bling wrap, then put some gems on the open part. To finish, place a glass on top of it.
