I’m a big fan of chalkboard walls, but an even bigger fan of coffee! I can’t think of a better way to repurpose a boring white wall in a home…this is stunning and so much fun!

During the summer when I was traveling with my best friend to a little town in Colorado, we stopped at a little coffee shop. The owners of the coffee shop had done an amazing job designing the interior and styling the space. The walls were chalkboards filled with chalkboard art and their menu.

One wall was filled with coffee merchandise displayed on gorgeous rustic wooden shelves, and a display case was filled with fresh baked goods that were calling my name. It had such wonderful ambiance, I hated to leave.

I was never able to get that darling coffee shop out of my head. One day I was browsing Pinterest and found a photo of this awesome coffee bar! I had the perfect wall in my kitchen for this so it was on!

Now that I have my fabulous coffee bar I cannot tell you how happy this makes me! I’m so excited to get up every morning and see it while making my coffee. And, my friends are so envious…there just may be some replicas happening in their homes! This is the way to fill your heart, stomach and walls!

Do you have a breakfast nook or an end wall in your kitchen? Paint it with chalkboard paint and let it become your favorite space!  After all, it’s just paint!

Do you have the guts to paint a wall with chalkboard paint? I wasn’t sure at first, but then I thought “why the heck not?” I’m so happy I went for it and now look what I have!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
