It’s time to get creative and decorate your home with Christmas decorations! You don’t need to buy expensive items from the store to fill your house with beautiful pieces. There are tons of DIY Christmas decor that you can make using inexpensive materials or scraps you already have in your stash. This DIY clothespin reindeer ornament by Factory Direct Craft is one idea that you can try to recreate for your Christmas tree.

For this project, you only need 6 materials – wooden clothespins, googly eyes, hot glue, red pom pom, berry Christmas embellishments, and jute twine. Of course, you don’t have to buy all of them. You can use items you already have, like ribbons, beads, or stickers for the nose, eyes, and the berry. It will save you more money, and you have the chance to get your creative juices flowing.

Remove the spring from the clothespins and you will have two pieces of wood sticks for each piece. You can use pliers to make the process easier.
Get the two stick and put them together side by side with the curves on the outside part, then glue them together. Make another piece.
Glue the bottom straight parts of the two pieces together to make the head of the reindeer just like in the photo below.
Glue the googly eyes on both sides, the red pom pom on the bottom for the nose, and the berry on the upper left.
Cut a small piece of twine and glue the end on the back of the ears of the reindeer.
