DIY Clear-view Tote

Clear-view totes are great to organize sewing materials, makeup, and toiletries. I love Clear-view totes because they’re easy to locate and see the items in the bag. For example, if you’re using this to store your makeup, it’s easier to see what product you’re trying to get. One thing about regular makeup bags or any other bags, you would have to scramble and search inside. Plus, this DIY sewing project looks durable and fun to make to keep longterm. Also, you’ll be able to pick your own fabric and color to customize it based on preference.

Supplies:

• mid-weight clear vinyl
• 2 zipper strips
• charms, optional
• lining
• fusible fleece
• backing
• 1 zipper

Directions:

First, start off with the measurements by watching Clear-view tote tutorial by Riley Blake Designs on YouTube. She provides the exact measurements.

Next, take the top and bottom lining pieces with the fusible fleece and stitch them together to create the back of the Clear-view tote. Then, take all of your pieces such as the zipper and body of the bag, and sew them all together for the final product.

Overall, this Clear-view tote would be perfect for traveling since it’s easy for items from the outside. I love how this bag is universal for many things and this tutorial did not take long to watch. These vinyl bags are easy to grab and go projects and would be great to make for gifts. I have so many makeup bags that are small and it’s cluttered. Ideally, if I were to make this Clear-view tote, I would use it to put to my makeup because it’s big enough to fit all of my products in one bag.
