What a fabulous way to spice up a room in your home! This DIY project can be done very inexpensively, yet pulling off a very expensive look! It will certainly add some glitz and glamour to your home. This looks especially grand in a bedroom!

Just a few weeks ago, my office was a bland, boring beige box. A quick coat of paint on the walls and the space was transformed. But it needed more than just paint. It was asking for a crystal chandelier, but after a few shopping trips I knew buying one was not in the cards. I’d have to go the DIY route. And so began my quest on my own DIY crystal chandelier. I got so excited when I saw this chandelier lamp tutorial! I had originally thought I would have a hanging chandelier, but this one worked for me, so I got busy making one and I love how it turned out!

I went on the hunt for real crystal beads, rather than plastic and I found them to be very inexpensive on Amazon. The plastic beads will work pretty much the same, but I wanted crystal because the prisms they create are more intense.

My next project will be to do an actual crystal chandelier. This project was so easy and I love it so much that I want to put up a chandelier in my dining room. I’ve seen some really cool ones on Pinterest and old metal chandelier type light fixtures are cheap at the thrift stores or Habitat for Humanity.

Watch how Treshaja does this in her step by step tutorial so you can enjoy having one of these in your home too!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
