I love my cat and he loves to go outside but we live in the Texas Hill Country and get really fearful when he goes outside because there are so many wild animals out there. I had been upset about it for weeks because it just didn’t seem fair to keep the poor darling in the house all the time, and my sister sent me this Youtube video where a young couple had made a little window box with a cat door like small patio for their kitty and they called it a catio! Oh my, I laughed and laughed this catio not only had an adorable name but it was really attractive and practical. I showed the idea to my husband and he thought it was a great idea and we got started on it right away.

I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
