I have been wanting to have a little outdoor stove because I live in the South and we often have weather events that could knock the power out at our home. When I found this awesome DIY brick rocket stove video tutorial by Garden Design, on YouTube, I knew I had found the right one. This stove is so simple in design and easy to make because all you will need are a few bricks, some cement mortar, and a few pieces of rebar to make the grill portion of the stove, where you will build your fire. This is a very sturdy little emergency stove, that will be resistant to wind damage because it is built on the ground. For further stability, you could dig into the ground and start the bricklaying there.

Materials For The Rocket Brick Stove:

• Bricks (any amount, depending on the size you want the stove to be)
• Mortar
• Rebar rods (precut to the length you will need)
• A shovel
• A trowel
