I ran across the photo of this tutorial and went “whoa!” It definitely caught my attention and can you imagine how much attention you will get wearing this classic dress?
I’m enjoying the idea of the sixties revival which seems to be happening everywhere, I’m not one for wearing bold monochrome prints the whole time, but I love a cute sixties shift dress. These are so easy and comfortable to wear, yet so fabulous looking! They seem to be all the rage now! I just love how the fashion trends always come back around. This is one of my favorite styles from years ago!
I made a few of these dresses out of some of the awesome fabrics they now carry at the fabric stores! Oh, an I also made a black lace dress from this pattern too!
I love wearing dresses… they’re cooler than pants. Don’t get me wrong, I still wear pants, but it’s fun to change it up for a bit!
It’s really nice to have some easy dresses to throw on when you’re going out for a night on the town! The lace dress can be worn for dress or for every day.
This is such an easy pattern and any beginner at sewing can do this! I hadn’t sewn in years and I found it pretty simple to make, so don’t be intimidated if you are new at this!
