In true end-of-summer fashion, everything has been pushed into high gear around here. As soon as September hits and the first hint of crisp air arrives, I  start nesting and scurrying about getting ready for the festive months to come. The wreath on my front door is one of the quickest and easiest ways to welcome the new season; so in salute to autumn, here is a great idea for sprucing up your front door just in time for fall.

No matter what the time of year, there is nothing more welcoming than a seasonal wreath on the front door. It beckons your guests inside and adds a pop of color that adds to curb appeal as well. Fall is the perfect time to make an easy, DIY wreath using the colors of the season. Use gold, dark red, orange and rust. Make one reflecting your own personal style, or use the tutorials below to make a wreath that can live on your front door from Labor Day until Thanksgiving!

Most of us love the holidays because that’s when the decorating begins and we get to enjoy all the scrumptious food! This is the time when our creative juices start flowing. This is the time that I start making candles and other gifts for my family in advance. At least that is my goal every year! I slack a bit until after Thanksgiving and then it’s down to the wire!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
