My family loves sweets, and this recipe by Spice Bites is our favorite! This delicious chocolate brownie dessert has 3 amazing layers. The first one is the moist and soft brownie at the bottom, followed by the homemade whipped cream, then topped with melted milk chocolate. It’s so yummy, you won’t even notice how much you’ve eaten already.
For the whipped cream:
For the chocolate mixture:
Break the dark chocolate into small pieces and place in a bowl. Add the unsalted butter and sugar. Melt the chocolate in the double boiler while continuously stirring. Once done, remove it from heat.
Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder directly into the chocolate mixture. Add warm milk and vanilla extract. Mix everything until smooth and thick.
Grease a 10 by 5 inch baking tray and line it with parchment paper. Pour the chocolate batter and spread evenly. Thump it to remove air bubbles.
Place it inside a preheated oven at 356F and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes.
Remove it from the oven and let it cool. Once cooled, remove it from the tray and take off the parchment paper. Cut the brownie into the size of your baking tray.
Add the whipping cream into a bowl and beat for 1 minute using an electric beater. Add powdered sugar and beat until medium peaks using an electric mixer.
Spread the whipped cream on top of the brownie, then poke holes into the cake.
Combine dark chocolate and hot milk in a bowl. Keep mixing until the chocolate is completely melted. Pour the chocolate mixture into the cake and spread it evenly.
Garnish with sprinkles on top then serve. Enjoy!
