Have you ever wondered how you can add some interest to furniture without painting it? Paint is great, but sometimes you want to do something a little more interesting other than paint furniture. This tutorial will teach you how to decoupage furniture!

This is one of my favorite DIY projects.  You can essentially “upholster” a wooden chair with fabric and Mod Podge!

This is a brilliant way to refurbish an old chair and bring some color to your decor. Talk about an easy fix…this is exactly that, plus it looks awesome!

I had some old chairs that have been in my family for many years and they had seen their better days. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to paint them or do this decoupage and fabric technique.

I’m here to report that I chose to paint the chairs and decoupage a nice fabric to the seat and the back of them. I’m so glad I made this decision because they turned out to be really lovely and add a great pop of color to my room!

If you don’t have the wooden slatted seat and back on your chair, this still looks great with fabric decoupaged on it.

Watch how Gina Paris decoupages this chair with fabric in her step by step tutorial.

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
