No need to go all the way to Dairy Queen to taste their delicious buster bars, because now, you can make them at home in a larger version through this video tutorial by TheRecipeGirl on YouTube. It’s super easy to prepare, takes only 5 ingredients to make, and requires no baking at all! If you’re planning for a party, then you should also consider serving this on the table, and for sure, your guests will love it.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (14.3 ounces) package of Oreo cookies, crushed
  • ½ gallon of vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 16 ounces of hot fudge sauce
  • 1½ cups of peanuts
  • 1 quart of cool whip or homemade whipped cream

For topping

  • Hot fudge
  • Peanuts

Directions:

Step 1

Insert the Oreo cookies in a Ziploc bag, then crush them. Lightly grease a tall foil pan or 9*13 inches baking dish with a non-stick cooking spray, then transfer the crushed Oreos, and spread them evenly at the bottom of the pan. Scoop the softened ice cream and put it on top of the crushed Oreos, then place it in the freezer, and let it sit for about 1 to 2 hours or until the ice cream becomes frozen again.

Step 2

Spread the fudge sauce on top of the vanilla ice cream (if the fudge is too thick for your liking, you can put it in the microwave for about 10 seconds and let it soften a bit), then sprinkle some peanuts on top of the fudge, and then add the cool whip over the peanuts. Put it back in the refrigerator and let it freeze again for another 2 hours. Cut it into squares, then top it with more hot fudge and peanuts if desired.
