I love my crockpot and I cook in it at least three times a week, but I hadn’t ever thought of making a cake in a crockpot, so when I saw this Red Velvet cake on Youtube I was completely blown away. I was really excited about trying this cake in the crockpot because I really love red velvet cake, it brings back so many great memories for me. The first time I ever tasted it was at a party in 7th grade and I couldn’t believe something so red could taste like chocolate, I guess I expected strawberry or cherry if something was red. Of course, now I understand how red velvet cake is made and I understand that it’s red because you put food coloring in a chocolate cake the flavor still amazes me when I take my first bite.
