To make this recip, the first thing you need to do is sear the chicken. Searing the chicken will help in locking the moisture in the meat. It will also give it a tasty crust on the outside and hold the flavors inside. Do not skip this step, as it makes a big difference to your dish. Once it’s ready, all you need to do is add all the other ingredients and let your slow cooker do its magic. You can serve it with rice, potatoes, salads, or green beans.

Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and add oil. Season chicken with salt, black pepper, and onion powder on all sides. Place on the hot oil and sear for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining chicken.
Grease a 6-quart crockpot with non-stick cooking spray. Place the seared chicken into the bottom of your slow cooker.
Add honey, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, pepper, and onion powder in a medium bowl. Whisk well then pour over the chicken.
Put the lid and cook on high settings for 3 to 4 hours. Alternatively, you can cook them on low for 6 to 8 hours until chicken fork tender.
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water, then pour into the slow cooker. Stir well into the liquid to create a gravy. Sprinkle sliced green onions on top.
Serve on top of cooked rice or mashed potatoes.
