This crockpot creamy potato and ground beef by Catherine’s Plates on YouTube is super convenient now that Fall has arrived. It’s creamy and cheesy which makes it a comforting soup for rainy or cold days. I love creamy soups, so this would be very filling to have on days where I want a light yet wholesome meal.
I love how Catherine has videos based on the seasons, and this is her first soup tutorial of the year. I can’t wait to see what other soup or Fall recipes she is going to have on her channel. Also, this would easily be a soup recipe
First, in a large skillet, brown the ground beef with onion. Then, add the garlic. Drain the grease, and transfer the meat mixture to the crockpot.
Next, add in the rest of the ingredients such as potatoes, broth, vegetables, seasonings, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. Cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH 3-4 hours. Continue to watch Catherine’s Plates tutorial on YouTube for full instructions and details.
Overall, this would be a great Fall soup to have during the chilly weather. All you really have to do is cook the ground beef and dump everything into the crockpot. I love dump and go recipes because it requires little to no effort to make. Just let the slow cooker do its things and dinner is served. Also, I think crockpot soups are so nice because you can have it on and the whole house would smell like delicious soup.
