I love Cheesecake at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and every day of the year for that matter. I also adore anything made in a crockpot, this recipe suits me perfectly and this Cheesecake has a raspberry ripple lots of fresh raspberries on top which look gorgeous on any holiday table. Your family will love you for this cheesecake! It’s so simple to make I started by mixing my crust ingredients 3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and 2 tablespoons unsalted butter. Then I just mashed the crust down into the cheesecake pan.
Then I just added my filling mixture which consisted of 1/2 a cup sugar, 4 eggs, yogurt, 16 oz. softened cream cheese, and 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour mixed well in a food processor. Then I swirled my melted raspberry jelly.
You just put it in the refrigerator overnight and you are ready for the feast! This Cheesecake is so delicious!!! I have been using my crockpot every day and the more I use it, the more I love it. In fact, I had this great idea to make my Christmas turkey and sides entirely in a series of crockpots since we were going to my Aunt’s for Christmas dinner. This crockpot idea works perfectly for transporting holiday food from one house to another because you throw all the base pie ingredients in the trunk of your car and set the crockpots securely in an ice chest or arranged neatly in the back seat. When you arrive at your destination, you just plug everything back in and set the food back in. The real beauty of this is that these crockpots can be plugged in anywhere in the house and you don’t have to take up any of the hosts or hostesses space in the kitchen. I just threw all the Cheesecake ingredients in the crockpot, the only thing that’s different here is that you will want to chill your crockpot cheesecake overnight in the actual crock and transport the cheesecake in its own special chilling place, it’s own crockpot! So to get started I first.
