Nothing says hello summer like fresh blackberries! We have three big blackberry bushes at the edge of our property and in early summer they are stacked with succulent berries, so I am always on the lookout for a new blackberry recipe to help me cope with the overload. When I saw this awesome video recipe tutorial by Ashley The Recipe Rebel on Youtube, I knew I had to make it right away. It is a super simple recipe and it’s made in the crockpot which makes every cooking experience easy and pleasant for me. The minute I saw it I immediately went into the kitchen and got to work. The recipe instructions were simple as well and luckily these ingredients were not exotic or hard to find, in fact, I already had all of them in my pantry and in my refrigerator. If you aren’t growing your own food yet, I highly suggest it, berries especially are really simple to grow. We have them having off our chain link fence and they don’t need very much upkeep at all.
