If you are looking for an easy, last-minute recipe for all the meat lovers in your family, I cannot recommend this Crockpot BarBQ Chicken Recipe enough. The preparation is very quick and easy and you only need a few ingredients for these delicious BarBQ Chicken. To get started you just need a crockpot, BarBQ Sauce, and some chicken legs, I like to use the Pure Cane Sugar BarBQ Sauce because it tastes better and it’s way better for you.  You can make this in a crockpot or Instant Pot, whichever you prefer. I started this recipe by gathering my ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • BarBQ Rub
  • BarBQ Sauce
  • Smoking Rub
  • All-Purpose Seasoning

Directions:

Wash and dry your chicken and place it in a bowl then cover with rubs and seasoning then rub them in and place the chicken legs in the crockpot.

Then cover the chicken legs with your favorite BarBQ Sauce

Then cook for 2 1/2 hours on high and remove the chicken legs and place in a casserole dish, add more Barbq sauce and some crockpot pan drippings and broil in a hot oven for 5 minutes.

This recipe is so delicious and easy and I am so thankful that I bought a crockpot last year on dreaded Black Friday, which was a major hassle that I will never do again, but I do love my crockpot! I can cook what used to take all day engaging in ordinary stovetop cooking, in about 5 to 10 minutes of prep time, then you just set and forget. I have made so many stews and roasted meats for important dinners I did not have time to plan for. My crockpot is my go-to appliance when I hear the phone ring and it’s my husband saying, “Guess who’s coming to dinner, Honey?”. The crockpot has saved me in many a pinch, I just love it almost as much as I love chicken!
