  • 5 pounds of russet potatoes
  • 2 chicken bullion cubes
  • water to cover
  • After the water is drained
  • 1/2 cup of butter (salted or unsalted)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 16 ounces of sour cream
  • 2 cups of cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1 bunch of green onions (chopped and divided)

You will begin by peeling and cutting your raw potatoes. Then you’ll cover those potatoes in the crockpot and cover with water, and cook for 5 hours.

Then, you will drain the cooked potatoes and mash them in the crockpot. Then you will add the additional ingredients, then cook for an additional 20 minutes.
