Ingredients:

  • 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • salt, black pepper, and onion powder
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 packet Italian seasoning, dry blend
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 can of cream of chicken
  • 10 oz chicken broth
  • 1 lb angel hair pasta
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Directions:

Step 1

Grease your crockpot with a nonstick cooking spray and set aside. Season the chicken breasts with some salt, ground black pepper, and onion powder on both sides. After this, lay them in the bottom of the crockpot. Next, in a large mixing jug, whisk together 4 oz cream cheese and 4 tbsp butter, then add one can of cream of chicken, 10 oz chicken broth, 1 tbsp minced garlic, and 1 packet Italian seasoning. Whisk everything well, then pour it all over the chicken.

Step 2

Place the lid on the crockpot and cook it on high for three to four hours or on low for five to six hours. Once the chicken is almost done, go ahead and cook the pasta noodles according to the packaging instructions. Now, remove the lid of the crockpot, then shred the chicken into pieces using forks or a meat chopper. Once done, shred about 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese on the chicken, mix well, then add the cooked pasta. Fold in together to combine. Serve and enjoy!
