Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 pounds of fresh pink salmon
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon of onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon of bay seasoning
  • unsalted melted butter

Instructions:

Step 1:

First, preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. You want it to be nice and hot when you put the salmon inside.

Step 2:

Place your salmon fillets on your chopping board and pat them dry with a paper towel on both sides. Once dry, drizzle extra virgin olive oil and rub it in. Repeat for the other side.

Step 3:

In a small bowl, add 1 tablespoon of garlic powder, 1 tablespoon of onion powder, and 1 tablespoon of old bay seasoning. Mix until well combined. Sprinkle the combined seasonings on your salmon fillets and rub it in with your hands. Make sure that everything is well coated on both sides.

Step 4:

Get a baking dish and line it with aluminum foil. Make sure that the sides are covered too. Place your well-seasoned salmon on the prepared baking dish and place it inside your preheated oven. Bake it at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 10 to 12 minutes.

Step 5:

After 10 to 12 minutes, set your oven to broil for about 3 to 4 minutes to make the top crispy. Make sure to keep an eye on it because it can burn very quickly. Do not walk away from it while your oven is on broil. Once done, grab some unsalted melted butter and brush it on top of the salmon to get a beautiful glaze.

Step 6:

Transfer to your serving plate. Add sliced lemons on top and sprinkle chopped parsley. Serve and enjoy!
