What I love about this recipe is that it only requires a few ingredients, six, to be exact. You will need semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate chips, condensed milk, salt, unsalted butter, vanilla extract, and walnuts. The nuts give a nice crunchy texture to your chocolate fudge, but it is totally optional. Making this classic sweet treat is super easy and doesn’t even require a mixer.

Easy Chocolate Walnut Fudge Ingredients

  • 1 pound of semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate chips
  • 14 oz of sweetened condensed milk
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
  • 1 8/4 cups of walnuts (chopped)

How to Make Chocolate Fudge With Walnuts

Step 1:

Start by lining an 8″ x 8″ pan with parchment paper leaving a small overhang on the sides.

Step 2:

Add the chocolate chips, condensed milk, and salt in a microwave-safe bowl. Melt in 30-second increments for about a minute, then mix. If it’s not fully melted, place it back for another 10 seconds.
