Christmas is just around the corner and soon everyone will be busy looking for gifts and planning meals for the dinner table. As for me, one thing that shouldn’t be missing every Christmas would be chocolate truffles. It is what I consider to be the star of the event because my family, as well as my friends, love eating the truffles I made and look forward to it every year. So if you don’t know yet what to make for dessert this holiday, you should try this chocolate truffle recipe made by HidaMari Cooking on YouTube. Don’t worry, it’s not as hard to make as you think. Look at the tutorial below and see for yourself.
Step 1:
Cut the white chocolate into small pieces and transfer it to a bowl. Place the bowl on top of another bowl filled with hot water and stir the chocolate until completely melted. In a large bowl, mash the softened cream cheese then add the melted chocolate, lemon juice, and chopped pistachio nuts, mix until well-combined.

Step 2:
Scoop 16g each of the mixture and transfer in a tray with parchment paper. Cover it with plastic wrap and chill in the freezer for 15 minutes. After chilling the mixture, roll and smoothen it out with your palm.
Step 3:
Cut the sweet chocolate into pieces then melt using the same process above. Dip each truffle in the melted chocolate and cover it completely before transferring it into a flat tray with parchment paper. Drizzle and design with white chocolate then garnish with chopped pistachio. You can switch the color by dipping the truffles in white chocolate instead.
