Christmas is just around the corner and soon everyone will be busy looking for gifts and planning meals for the dinner table. As for me, one thing that shouldn’t be missing every Christmas would be chocolate truffles. It is what I consider to be the star of the event because my family, as well as my friends, love eating the truffles I made and look forward to it every year. So if you don’t know yet what to make for dessert this holiday, you should try this chocolate truffle recipe made by HidaMari Cooking on YouTube. Don’t worry, it’s not as hard to make as you think. Look at the tutorial below and see for yourself.

Ingredients:

  • 100g White chocolate
  • 100g Cream cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 30g Pistachio
  • 200g Couverture sweet chocolate

Directions:

Step 1:

Cut the white chocolate into small pieces and transfer it to a bowl. Place the bowl on top of another bowl filled with hot water and stir the chocolate until completely melted. In a large bowl, mash the softened cream cheese then add the melted chocolate, lemon juice, and chopped pistachio nuts, mix until well-combined.

Step 3:

Dip each truffle in the melted chocolate and cover it completely before transferring it into a flat tray with parchment paper. Drizzle and design with white chocolate then garnish with chopped pistachio. You can switch the color by dipping the truffles in white chocolate instead.
